Apple has released the two iPhone models on September 16, 2016, one is iPhone 7 and the other is the iPhone 7 plus. Both feature a water, splash, and dust-resistant (IP67) body, an all-new force-touch home button, and a cutting edge A10 Fusion chip with longer battery life. The iPhone 7 Plus got a bit bigger in size which makes it less handy in comparison to iPhone 7. A1160 iPhone 7 model number is considered a global phone with both GSM and CDMA networks connectivity. It is available in the United States, Puerto Rico, Hong Kong and China.

Almost very similar to the A1660 model except there is no support for TD-SCDMA and CDMA EV-DO Rev. Also CDMA networks won’t work properly like Sprint or Verizon But, however you can still make calls using VoLTE.

It was released specially for Japanese markets and the difference was made by the addition of FeliCa Type-F NFC contactless technology which will allow users to use Apple Pay in Japan.

This A1780 model does not support CDMA networks and was an edition for china mobiles in china And specially designed to abide by the Chinese Censorship laws. These models don’t support CDMA networks however relies on GSM and LTE bands for connectivity.

The 5.5-inch Apple iPhone 7 Plus comes with 4 different model numbers, A1661, A1784, A1785 and A1786. We have listed all of them below here.

A1161 model works almost on all GSM and CDMA network carriers.

However, it’s not fully compatible with CDMA carriers Sprint and Verizon, still, you can use it on 3G r 4G LTE.
